Technology International's Standard Limited Warranty: THIS WARRANTY IS FOR THE ORIGINAL CUSTOMER AND IS NOT TRANSFERABLE. Damage caused by shipping the products to you is covered under this limited warranty. Please examine the product and accessories immediately upon receipt. You must notify PTI immediately if any products/accessories are damaged or missing due to shipping. Products which have been subjected to abuse, misuse, alteration, neglect or unauthorized repair or installation, as determined solely by PTI, are not covered by this warranty. Any alterations, additions, improvements or attachments to the product(s) not authorized by PTI shall be deemed to be a waiver of this warranty. THIS WARRANTY WILL NOT COVER ANY SOFTWARE THAT IS OPENED. PTI will repair or replace products/accessories due to defects in material or workmanship, or any failure of the hardware system to conform to written specifications. Warranty repairs will be performed at PTIs service center. Any replacement parts/products shall be new or refurbished. Any repaired or replaced product will not extend the original warranty term of the product. Additionally, this warranty period will not be extended as a result of the purchase of any additional parts/products from Prism Technology International. Extended warranties and on-site services (CT residents only) are available as an option. An additional fee will be charged for all extended warranties. During the warranty period, PTI will provide technical support for hardware diagnosis via e-mail. (sales@compulaser.com) or the technical support and customer service hot line(888-487-4439). If PTI's technical support determines that the product is defective, PTI will issue a return material authorization (RMA) number to the customer. The customer is required to ship the product referencing the RMA number on the outside of the original (or equivalent) packaging with a copy of PTI's invoice enclosed. The return shipment must be sent insured and prepaid to Prism Technology International PTI will ship the repaired or replaced product to the customer with freight prepaid if the customers address is within United Stated of America (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and U.S. possessions). Shipments to other locations will be shipped collect. PTI must receive notice of all events before the warranty period expires. NOTE: PTI will not be responsible for data on the hard-disk drive. Before you ship the product(s) to PTI, please back up your data from the hard-disk drive(s)or any other storage device(s) in the product(s). Printers Next Business Day Delivery/On-site Service for Parts Once the part has been received, an on-site visit will be scheduled for service (CT residents only). On-site service is provided by a PTI or an independent third-party service provider when necessary. On-site service may not be available in all areas, if that is the case, the machine must be shipped to our location. After it has been determined that the problem cannot be solved over the telephone, a technician will be dispatched to your location. If you or your authorized representative is not at the location when the service technician arrives and the system cannot be serviced, you may be charged for a follow-up service call. |
